We are delighted to report that this year's Building Controls Industry Awards ceremony, staged on 14th May 2009, was deemed a tremendous success by the 220+ guests that attended the event.
The awards programme achieved its aim of bringing together the entire building controls industry in a celebration of the companies, innovations and people that are achieving the highest professional standards and helping to drive this dynamic industry forward.
Each award recognised best practice in the key areas of technical innovation, engineering excellence, energy saving, service & achievement, training, sales growth, customer care and employee motivation and four companies and four individuals were presented with an award. Datateam Publishing would like to convey their thanks to everyone involved in the 2009 awards ceremony, all of whom helped to create an evening, of fun, networking and true celebration. Feedback to date has been truly exceptional and we now hope that this year's attendees will ‘spread the word' about the awards, helping to ensure that the 2010 event will be an even greater success!
We'd also like to thank all of those who attended the event, and who donated generously towards the BCIA's chosen charity - Habitat for Humanity. Over £3,000 was raised through the Grand Charity Raffle, so thank you again to all the contributors of prizes.
